2013 Summer Outing

Saturday, 29th June saw us onto a coach but not far to go this year! Firstly a guided tour of the beautiful St. Mary's church in Beverley followed by coffee at The King's Head. We were all then taken just down the road to Beswick to have a look at "Dolls House Miniatures" - a charming display of a personal collection of dolls' houses and furniture by Mary Scaife who also provided a very tasty buffet lunch. We then had free time to explore further the varied displays. Having time in hand, we called for refreshments at the cafe at Skidby Mill - all in all, a lovely, relaxing day made all the more enjoyable by the clement weather.
