Summer outing

On 4 July 2015 we headed west, by coach, to Wakefield for a double delight. First we visited the Barbara Hepworth Gallery where we had coffee on arrival followed by a conducted tour of some of her iconic works; our guide was extremely knowledgeable and the visit proved interesting for everyone. On then to Nostell Priory with the opportunity for lunch in the courtyard café and then a wander around house and grounds until time for home at 4.30. An informative and very enjoyable day blessed with fine weather.
